Product Review Guidelines

These Product Review Guidelines (these “Review Guidelines”) govern all ratings, reviews, testimonials, comments, questions, answers, titles, headlines, display names, photographs, videos, audio, attachments, and other review-related or user-generated content (collectively, “Review Content”) submitted, posted, transmitted, displayed, published, requested, or otherwise made available in connection with Z Natural Foods LLC (“ZNF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including through ZNaturalFoods.com, any checkout flow, review widget, mobile experience, email or SMS review request, marketplace, third-party storefront, social or commerce platform, or any related service or communication channel (collectively, the “Services”).

ZNF operates from Palm Beach County, Florida. These Review Guidelines are incorporated into and form part of ZNF’s Terms of Use (“TOU”) and must be read together with the Content Policy, Privacy Policy, Legal Notice Disclaimer, Digital Advertising & Analytics Policy, Accessibility Statement, Information Security Policy, DMCA Compliance Statement, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Cancelations, Returns, Refunds & Title Policy, Purchases, Subscriptions & Pre-Orders Policy, and all other applicable ZNF legal policies published on the Legal page (collectively, the “ZNF Legal Policies”). In the event of any conflict, the TOU controls, followed by any more specific topic-specific ZNF policy to the extent applicable.

By submitting or causing the submission of any Review Content, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Review Guidelines and the TOU. If you do not agree, do not submit Review Content.

1. Purpose of the Review System

ZNF’s review system is intended to facilitate lawful, genuine, experience-based feedback concerning ZNF products and services. Review Content is provided for general informational purposes only. Review Content reflects the views of the submitting party only and does not necessarily reflect the views of ZNF, its affiliates, personnel, suppliers, service providers, or regulators.

Publication, display, transmission, excerpting, or availability of Review Content does not constitute ZNF’s adoption, endorsement, verification, certification, warranty, or representation regarding such Review Content.

2. Protected Honest Reviews; No Review Gag Clause

Nothing in these Review Guidelines is intended to prohibit, penalize, or restrict any truthful, good-faith consumer review or other speech protected by applicable law, including the Consumer Review Fairness Act or other non-waivable consumer-protection law.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, ZNF may review, reject, redact, delay, de-index, disable, remove, preserve, investigate, or disclose Review Content that is unlawful, deceptive, fabricated, materially misleading, abusive, privacy-invasive, unsafe, medically noncompliant, or otherwise inconsistent with these Review Guidelines, the TOU, the ZNF Legal Policies, or applicable law.

3. Reviewer Eligibility; Actual Experience; Authenticity

By submitting Review Content, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:

1. you have the legal authority and capacity to submit the Review Content and to bind any person or entity on whose behalf you act;

2. the Review Content is based on your own actual, first-hand experience with the specific ZNF product or service being reviewed, unless the review expressly and lawfully discloses a different basis that ZNF permits;

3. you are not impersonating any other person or entity, and you are not using a false, synthetic, misleading, or materially deceptive identity;

4. the Review Content is truthful, current, materially complete, and not misleading by statement, omission, context, implication, selective editing, or manipulation;

5. you will, upon reasonable request, provide information sufficient for ZNF to verify authenticity, including without limitation proof of purchase, order information, approximate purchase date, lot or batch information, product photographs, or other substantiation; and

6. the Review Content was not mass-generated, deceptively AI-generated, copied from another source, purchased, traded, brokered, or otherwise fabricated.

ZNF may refuse to publish or may remove Review Content if authenticity cannot be reasonably verified, if supporting information is not timely provided, or if ZNF determines that the Review Content creates legal, operational, regulatory, fraud, marketplace, reputational, or customer-safety risk.

4. General Standards for Review Content

Review Content must:

1. relate primarily to the specific ZNF product or service actually used, purchased, or experienced;

2. remain reasonably relevant to product attributes, ordering experience, fulfillment experience, packaging, or other genuine customer experience;

3. be submitted in a lawful, respectful, non-deceptive manner;

4. avoid exaggeration, speculation presented as fact, and unsupported statements about ingredients, origin, testing, certifications, warnings, pricing, shipping, regulatory status, or legal obligations; and

5. comply with the TOU, these Review Guidelines, the Content Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Legal Notice Disclaimer, applicable platform rules, and all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Prohibited Review Content

Without limiting any other restriction, ZNF may refuse to publish or may remove any Review Content that, in ZNF’s sole discretion, includes, constitutes, or promotes any of the following:

5.1 Unlawful, deceptive, or misleading content

Any content that is false, deceptive, fraudulent, unfair, unconscionable, misleading, fabricated, materially incomplete, manipulated, or otherwise violative of applicable law, including consumer-protection, advertising, unfair-competition, defamation, intellectual-property, privacy, or data-protection law.

5.2 Fake, purchased, traded, or manipulated reviews

Any review that is fake, fabricated, brokered, purchased, sold, exchanged, mass-submitted, coordinated, review-swapped, deceptively AI-generated, or otherwise intended to manipulate ratings, search rankings, consumer perception, or moderation outcomes.

5.3 Harassing, abusive, obscene, or discriminatory content

Any profanity, vulgarity, obscenity, hate speech, discriminatory language, abusive language, threats, intimidation, extortion, blackmail, stalking, doxxing, coercion, or harassing, humiliating, or spiteful attacks directed at ZNF, its personnel, service providers, reviewers, or any other person or entity.

5.4 Off-topic or third-party promotional content

Advertisements, spam, affiliate links, referral codes, political messaging, fundraising, unrelated grievances, promotional content concerning other products or companies, or content primarily intended to divert traffic away from ZNF or promote a third party.

5.5 Personal, confidential, or sensitive information

Any email address, phone number, physical address, order number, account credential, payment information, government identifier, health information, child/minor information, or other personal, confidential, or sensitive data belonging to you or any third party.

5.6 Intellectual-property or publicity-right violations

Any content that infringes, misappropriates, dilutes, or otherwise violates the copyright, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, publicity, privacy, contract, database, or other rights of ZNF or any third party.

5.7 False statements about ZNF or its products

Any inaccurate or unsupported statements regarding ingredients, sourcing, organic status, certifications, warnings, contaminant levels, test results, shipping times, refund rights, pricing, legal obligations, regulatory approvals, or other material facts.

5.8 Improper leverage or complaint abuse

Any content used as leverage to obtain refunds, credits, replacements, free goods, compensation, publicity avoidance, or other concessions through threats, negative-review pressure, or similar tactics.

5.9 Unsafe-use instructions

Any content that instructs, encourages, or normalizes use of a product contrary to labeling, directions, warnings, intended use, age restrictions, allergen guidance, storage guidance, or applicable law.

5.10 Malware, automation abuse, or technical interference

Any code, link, file, script, attachment, or activity that could interfere with systems, facilitate abuse, or compromise the security, integrity, moderation, or operation of the Services.

6. Health, Medical, Supplement, Safety, and Regulatory Claim Restrictions

Because ZNF markets foods, food ingredients, botanicals, and related products, health-related review language creates elevated legal and regulatory risk. Accordingly, Review Content must not, expressly or by implication:

1. state, suggest, or imply that any ZNF product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease, disorder, syndrome, pathology, symptom complex, or medical condition;

2. reference specific diseases, medical conditions, symptoms, or outcomes in a manner that creates or implies a disease claim;

3. present anecdotal statements, before-and-after claims, or personal experiences as substantiation that a product has therapeutic, curative, preventive, detoxifying, hormone-modifying, weight-loss, bioavailability, potency, or other medical efficacy;

4. state or imply that a ZNF product is a substitute for prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, physician care, laboratory monitoring, or professional treatment;

5. state or imply that a ZNF product should be used together with, instead of, before, after, or in place of any drug, device, therapy, or treatment regimen;

6. encourage use above labeled serving sizes or dosage instructions, encourage prolonged or excessive use inconsistent with product guidance, or promote unsafe stacking or combinations;

7. describe or imply use in or for children, minors, pets, pregnant persons, nursing persons, immunocompromised persons, or persons with medical conditions unless such use is expressly authorized by ZNF in writing and lawfully substantiated;

8. misstate or exaggerate testing, purity, contaminant levels, certifications, USDA/FDA/FTC/NIH/WHO status, or any other governmental or quasi-governmental review, approval, endorsement, certification, or substantiation; or

9. otherwise conflict with product labeling, the Legal Notice Disclaimer, the Content Policy, or applicable law concerning foods, dietary supplements, labeling, endorsements, or consumer protection.

ZNF may remove, redact, abbreviate, or refuse Review Content that could reasonably be interpreted as an unauthorized disease claim, unsubstantiated health claim, unsafe-use instruction, or misleading regulatory statement.

7. Incentives, Material Connections, Insider Reviews, and Endorsement Disclosures

Review Content must not be misleading as to source, independence, or material connection. Without limitation:

1. if you received any free product, discount, coupon, loyalty benefit, refund, reimbursement, sweepstakes entry, gift card, affiliate benefit, employment benefit, or any other thing of value in connection with a review, that material connection must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed in the review where legally required;

2. reviews must not be conditioned on a positive sentiment, a particular star rating, or the removal or revision of negative content;

3. officers, managers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, family members, influencers, ambassadors, suppliers, resellers, or other materially connected persons may not submit undisclosed reviews or testimonials;

4. ZNF may decline to publish or may label, moderate, or remove incentivized or materially connected reviews where disclosure is absent, inadequate, misleading, or otherwise creates legal or reputational risk; and

5. ZNF may use fraud-detection, moderation, and verification tools to detect deceptive review practices.

8. Privacy, Publicity, and Sensitive Information

The review system is a public-facing feature. Do not submit any information that you do not wish to become public. Review Content may be visible to the public, indexed by search engines, copied by third parties, cached, archived, screen-captured, syndicated, or otherwise retained beyond ZNF’s direct control.

You must not submit:

1. personal data of any third party without lawful authority;

2. sensitive health, financial, biometric, identity, or account information;

3. information concerning minors;

4. confidential business information, trade secrets, or settlement communications; or

5. any images, audio, or video depicting third parties without all necessary permissions and consents.

ZNF may redact or remove personal data, but ZNF has no duty to perfect or guarantee anonymization. Privacy, data-rights, and public-display concerns must be directed through the channels designated in the Privacy Policy and related privacy notices.

9. Photos, Videos, and Other Submitted Media

If Review Content includes photographs, videos, audio, or other media, you further represent, warrant, and covenant that:

1. you created the media or have all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and releases to submit it;

2. all persons depicted have granted any legally required consent;

3. the media accurately and lawfully depicts the product or experience described;

4. the media is not materially altered in a deceptive manner; and

5. the media does not contain visible personal information, minors, unsafe product use, unlawful claims, copyrighted material, or other prohibited content.

ZNF may crop, resize, format, redact, excerpt, caption, translate, or otherwise technically modify submitted media for display, moderation, accessibility, privacy, legal compliance, or compatibility purposes, subject to the TOU.

10. Moderation, Verification, Publication, and Removal Rights

ZNF reserves the absolute right, but not the obligation, to monitor, pre-screen, review, verify, request substantiation for, delay, refuse, reject, redact, abbreviate, normalize, filter, translate, de-identify, excerpt, summarize, combine, de-duplicate, sort, suppress, de-rank, de-index, geoblock, archive, preserve, disclose, disable, unpublish, or remove any Review Content, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, for any lawful reason or no stated reason.

Without limitation, ZNF may take such action where ZNF determines, in its sole discretion, that Review Content:

1. violates these Review Guidelines, the TOU, the Content Policy, the Privacy Policy, or any other ZNF Legal Policy;

2. is unlawful or creates legal, regulatory, safety, cybersecurity, privacy, fraud, marketplace, payment, carrier, or reputational risk;

3. is fake, deceptive, incentivized without adequate disclosure, not based on actual experience, or otherwise unreliable;

4. contains or implies unauthorized disease, medical, or regulatory claims;

5. contains personal data or sensitive information;

6. is abusive, off-topic, or operationally burdensome;

7. exposes ZNF or third parties to avoidable claims or compliance risk; or

8. cannot be reasonably authenticated.

ZNF has no duty to publish all submitted reviews, to preserve submission order, to provide equal prominence to all reviews, to explain moderation decisions, or to continue hosting or restoring any Review Content after removal. To the fullest extent permitted by law, moderation decisions are final and within ZNF’s discretion.

11. Public Nature of Reviews; No Endorsement; No Professional Advice

Review Content is user-generated content. It is not professional medical, legal, nutritional, financial, or other professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such.

You acknowledge and agree that:

1. published reviews are not statements by ZNF;

2. ZNF does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, legality, authenticity, or usefulness of Review Content;

3. individual experiences are not typical and may vary materially;

4. Review Content must not be understood as a product label, dosage instruction, regulatory statement, safety guarantee, or medical claim by ZNF; and

5. any reliance on Review Content is at the user’s own risk, subject to the TOU and the Legal Notice Disclaimer.

12. Alternative Channels for Support, Safety, Privacy, Accessibility, Security, and IP Complaints

The review system is not a substitute for customer support, safety reporting, privacy rights requests, accessibility assistance, security reporting, or copyright notices.

Do not use a public review to submit or escalate:

1. order, billing, shipping, delivery, return, refund, exchange, subscription, or marketplace issues;

2. privacy or public-display removal requests;

3. accessibility issues or accommodation requests;

4. security incidents, suspected vulnerabilities, malware reports, or account-compromise concerns;

5. copyright notices or counter-notices;

6. urgent product-quality, contamination, tampering, allergen, adverse-event, illness, or injury reports.

Such matters must be directed through the channels designated on the Site and in the applicable ZNF Legal Policies. Where a review appears to raise a safety, contamination, wrong-product, damage, or adverse-event issue, ZNF may remove or suppress the public review and direct the matter to customer service, privacy, accessibility, security, or legal channels as appropriate.

13. License and Use of Review Content

Any ownership, license, permission, publication, display, archival, reuse, syndication, and derivative-use rights relating to Review Content are governed by the TOU.

For avoidance of doubt, nothing in these Review Guidelines is intended to require any transfer of your underlying ownership in Review Content beyond the non-exclusive rights expressly granted in the TOU. By submitting Review Content, you grant the rights set forth in the TOU, and you represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to do so.

14. Cooperation, Investigation, and Evidence Preservation

You agree to cooperate in good faith with any authenticity, compliance, safety, fraud, privacy, or legal investigation relating to Review Content. Without limitation, ZNF may request screenshots, receipts, lot numbers, photographs, account information, or other substantiation reasonably related to the review.

If a dispute, claim, chargeback, regulatory inquiry, takedown demand, adverse-event report, or other controversy arises that relates to Review Content or the underlying transaction, you agree to preserve relevant evidence, including without limitation communications, screenshots, emails, product packaging, lot or batch information, photographs, labels, and other relevant records.

Failure to preserve relevant evidence after notice of a dispute or claim may result in removal of Review Content, denial of requested relief, adverse inferences, or other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Product-Issue Reviews; Preservation of Product and Packaging

If your review concerns alleged contamination, tampering, wrong product, damage, mislabeling, missing items, adverse reaction, infestation, or other product-quality issue, you must stop use immediately and preserve the product, packaging, labels, lot identifiers, and any related evidence.

ZNF may require that such issues be handled under the Cancelations, Returns, Refunds & Title Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and other applicable ZNF Legal Policies, including any deadlines, inspection requirements, and cooperation obligations stated therein. ZNF may deny a claim or decline to credit, replace, or otherwise remediate where required evidence is discarded, unavailable, materially altered, or not timely provided, except where prohibited by law.

16. Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability; Exclusive Remedies

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

1. ZNF disclaims all responsibility and liability for user-generated Review Content, third-party review content, and externally hosted or syndicated review content;

2. ZNF makes no warranty that Review Content will be published, retained, transmitted, displayed, preserved, or remain available;

3. ZNF shall not be liable for any moderation, nondisplay, de-indexing, removal, refusal, routing, delay, verification, complaint-handling, or enforcement decision taken pursuant to these Review Guidelines or any other ZNF Legal Policy; and

4. all broader disclaimers, liability limitations, damages exclusions, and exclusive-remedy provisions in the TOU, Legal Notice Disclaimer, and other ZNF Legal Policies apply fully to Review Content, these Review Guidelines, and any dispute arising from them.

17. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZNF, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, contractors, service providers, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or relating to:

1. your Review Content;

2. your breach of these Review Guidelines, the TOU, or any other applicable ZNF Legal Policy;

3. your violation of any law or third-party right; or

4. any false, deceptive, infringing, unlawful, privacy-invasive, abusive, or medically noncompliant content submitted by or on behalf of you.

18. International, Local, and Channel-Specific Compliance

These Review Guidelines are intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable federal, state, local, and, where applicable, non-U.S. laws, regulations, and channel requirements. Nothing herein shall be construed to waive any non-waivable rights under applicable law.

Persons who access the Services from outside the United States, or who direct Review Content to users in other jurisdictions, do so at their own risk and remain solely responsible for complying with all local laws, disclosures, age restrictions, privacy rules, platform rules, and consumer-protection requirements applicable to their conduct and Review Content.

ZNF may refuse, restrict, geoblock, disable, or remove Review Content where legality, platform eligibility, disclosure sufficiency, or compliance status is uncertain, disputed, commercially unreasonable, or incompatible with ZNF’s legal or operational requirements.

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Review Guidelines, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Review Guidelines, any Review Content, any moderation or enforcement decision, or any use of ZNF’s review features, shall be governed exclusively by Section 16 of the TOU, which is incorporated herein by reference in full.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Florida law shall apply except as otherwise provided in the TOU and the Federal Arbitration Act. All dispute-resolution procedures, pre-arbitration requirements, arbitration requirements, venue rules, confidentiality rules, class-waiver terms, and any related provisions are controlled exclusively by the TOU.

20. Amendments; Survival; No Waiver

ZNF may modify, amend, replace, suspend, or discontinue these Review Guidelines at any time by posting an updated version on the Site or Legal page. The updated version is effective upon posting unless a later effective date is stated.

Your continued use of the Services or submission of Review Content after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Review Guidelines to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Any provision that by its nature should survive shall survive, including, without limitation, provisions concerning moderation, licenses, evidence preservation, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and enforcement. ZNF’s failure to enforce any provision in any instance shall not constitute a waiver of any right to enforce that provision or any other provision thereafter.

21. Final Acknowledgment; Integrated Legal Framework; Questions; Dispute Resolution

Thank you for reviewing this Policy. This Policy explains important rights, obligations, disclosures, restrictions, procedures, and risk allocations that apply to Z Natural Foods LLC (“ZNF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and to each person, entity, customer, visitor, purchaser, recipient, service provider, marketplace participant, reviewer, content submitter, automated system, bot, crawler, scraper, agentic tool, or other party that accesses, uses, purchases from, submits information to, communicates with, or otherwise interacts with ZNF, our Sites, Products, Services, systems, facilities, content, communications, or legal-policy framework.

This Policy is part of ZNF’s integrated legal framework and must be read together with ZNF’s Terms of Use and all other legal policies, notices, addenda, statements, guidelines, and disclosures posted on or linked from ZNF’s Legal page, currently available at https://www.znaturalfoods.com/pages/legal (collectively, the “ZNF Legal Policies”), each as amended, supplemented, restated, or replaced from time to time. The ZNF Legal Policies include, without limitation and as applicable, the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Your Privacy Choices / Data Sharing Opt-out Notice, U.S. State Privacy Addendum, International Privacy Addendum, GDPR Statement / EEA-UK-Switzerland Privacy Notice, Legal Notice / Disclaimer Policy, Purchases / Subscriptions / Pre-Orders Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Cancelations / Returns / Refunds & Title Policy, California Proposition 65 Notice, Accessibility Statement, Mobile Terms of Service, Content Policy, Product Review Guidelines, Digital Advertising & Analytics Policy, Information Security Policy & Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, DMCA Compliance Statement & Copyright Infringement Policy, Agent Terms & Automated Access / Bot Policy, and any other policy, notice, addendum, disclosure, or guideline made available by ZNF.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the ZNF Legal Policies are incorporated by reference into this Policy and into ZNF’s Terms of Use. If there is a direct conflict among ZNF Legal Policies, the Terms of Use control with respect to arbitration, class-action waiver, governing law, venue, limitation of liability, warranty disclaimers, damages exclusions, evidentiary standards, survival, enforcement, and other general risk-allocation provisions. The more specific topic-specific ZNF Legal Policy controls with respect to its particular subject matter, including, as applicable, privacy, cookies, advertising, mobile messaging, purchases, subscriptions, pre-orders, shipping, returns, title, accessibility, content, reviews, intellectual property, security, automated access, and jurisdiction-specific privacy rights. Any transaction-specific checkout disclosure, order disclosure, consent notice, or legally required jurisdiction-specific notice controls only for the specific matter disclosed and only to the extent required by applicable law.

If any concern, claim, controversy, or dispute arises out of or relates to this Policy, any ZNF Legal Policy, any ZNF Site, Product, Service, order, communication, content, review, submission, automated access, privacy matter, security matter, delivery, return, refund, payment, marketplace interaction, or other relationship with ZNF, you must follow the Initial Dispute Resolution process and the Binding Individual Arbitration requirements set forth in ZNF’s Terms of Use, including any applicable class-action waiver, jury-trial waiver, venue provision, governing-law provision, mass-arbitration procedure, and survival provision, except only to the limited extent a non-waivable law requires otherwise.

Your access to, browsing of, use of, purchase from, order placement with, receipt of products or services from, submission of information or content to, communication with, enrollment in, continued interaction with, or automated or agentic access to any ZNF Site, Product, Service, system, content, communication, or channel constitutes acknowledgment of this Policy and the ZNF Legal Policies to the fullest extent permitted by law. Where affirmative consent, opt-in, opt-out, notice, or other specific procedure is required by applicable law, ZNF may rely on the legally required method for that specific context. Nothing in this Policy or any ZNF Legal Policy is intended to waive, limit, restrict, or override any right or obligation that cannot lawfully be waived, limited, restricted, or overridden.

By using, purchasing from, communicating with, submitting to, accessing, or otherwise interacting with ZNF through any channel, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review this Policy, the Terms of Use, and the other ZNF Legal Policies available on the Legal page, and that your relationship with ZNF is governed by the then-current versions of those policies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
