Broccoli sprout powder is a superfood that has recently gained popularity.
It is made from the ground-up, dried sprouts of Brassica oleracea var. Italica is a variety of the cruciferous vegetable family commonly known as broccoli.
Broccoli sprouts were first discovered in the 1600s in Europe, but it was in the early 1990s that the potential qualities were recognized.
Researchers found that broccoli sprouts contain quantitative amounts of glucoraphanin that have potentially been linked to inhibiting various conditions.
