Green tea is an ancient beverage and originates in China.
It is believed that it was first brewed around 2737 BC. The tea was initially used for tonic purposes and consumed mainly by Buddhist Monks.
Over time, green tea spread to Japan and became an integral part of Japanese culture.
In the 12th century, Japanese monks brought green tea to Japan and began cultivating it in the Uji region.
In the 16th century, green tea was popularized in Japan and spread to other parts of Asia.
Green tea is widely enjoyed worldwide and known for its many health benefits.
Some research suggests that Green tea may contain the following constituents:

Infusion- Use the ratio of 1-2 tsp of product for every 8 ounces of distilled water. Bring water to a boil and then take off the stove. Put tea in a pot or a mug, fill it with water, and cover it for 15 minutes. (This method is specific for whole-leaf herbs and teas).
