Tamanu oil is a traditional oil used for centuries by native people in Southeast Asia and Polynesia.

It is made from the nut of the Calophyllum inophyllum tree, which grows in tropical regions around the world.

The oil is extracted from the nut by cold-pressing and has a dark green color with a nutty aroma.

Tamanu oil is a source of fatty acids, including oleic and linoleic acids.

Constituents of Tamanu Oil include:

Neutral lipids: Monoacylglycerols, Diglycerides, Free fatty acids, Triacylglycerols, Sterols, sterol esters hydrocarbons

This oil has helped relieve mild sun burn over night ...I love it for my face rsp around my eyes. I've also loved it for relieving chapped lips around the outside of my lips this product is great I keep discovering good uses

Tamanu oil used as transfer oil, does seem to absorb thru much depth of the dermis. Applied to the skin with oils like neem, oil made from algae, and powders like blue spirulina, Irish moss, very nice 👍 skin treatment.
